The Changing landscape of Vancouver’s Management Sector

Henry Goldbeck responds to Resonance’s article Is Vancouver’s Management Class Leaving

“This is an interesting article and could be negative for the economy if the conclusions materialize.   I would take its conclusions with a grain of salt.  It is much easier to speculate about selling your home and moving to a more affordable location than to actually do it.  When serious discussion begins about where to move to, leaving family and friends behind, kids changing schools, finding employment etc., it becomes less of an attractive option.  We still receive many more inquiries from individuals moving to Vancouver and looking for work here than we do from Vancouverites looking for employment elsewhere. This includes resumes from across Canada, Europe, South America, the USA and Asia.  Vancouver is still an extremely attractive place to live and work notwithstanding housing prices.”
