NPA Member Spotlight
Hello from Goldbeck Recruiting Inc in Vancouver, BC, Canada. We are currently consisting of an awesome, tight team of 5 recruiters and one fulltime researcher. We work in sales and marketing, production and operations and finance/accounting. We also recruit for HR professionals, general management roles and executives. Geographically we do business across Canada and the USA and have made placements in Europe, South America and Asia. With NPA we mostly import candidates. Our NPA involvement is growing slowly but steadily and we would like that to continue.
Kevin Leh – Kevin had his first experience with recruiting in the Philippines and joined us when he moved to Vancouver to join his fiancée seven years ago. Kevin recruit’s Operations, Production and Engineering professions from supervisory up to senior managers. He has placed many production managers, project managers, plant managers and related positions. He has filled positions from Vancouver, the Canadian far north, Europe and Asia. Kevin is an excellent recruiter who has filled numerous difficult assignments over the years. Kevin is a huge follower of the NBA and fan of the Lebron James and the Caveliers.
Karen Epp is our Finance/Accounting specialist. With 25 years’ experience in the industry, Karen is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to understanding and then finding candidates for accounting and finance positions for all industries. She is very dedicated, organized and hard working. Most of her placements are in Western Canada for loyal repeat clients. She is comfortable and competent filling positions from CFO, Controller, Senior Accountants to AP and AR. She also recruits Human Resource managers. She is a really good skier, bikes to work many days, plays Ukulele and has joined a curling team.
Jessica Miles is one of our two great sales recruiters. She recruits Sales and Marketing professionals in the industrial, B2B, Finance, health care, pharma and medical sectors. Jessica has filled positions across Canada, the USA, Europe and Asia. She is hard working, fun and very creative. Jessica loves to travel and is looking forward to visiting Vietnam in early 2017. She is always super active with book clubs, cocktail making contests, other fun activities and working out regularly. She is always open for adventure like going on the roller coaster 5 times in a row or visiting a federal prison to watch the inmates perform live theater.
Alessia Pagliaroli was a recruiter in Rome, Italy before moving to Canada and joining Goldbeck Recruiting. What a great addition to our company and country! Alessia recruits sales and marketing professionals in the building products, HVAC, consumer products, automotive, B2B, software and food sectors. She has been successfully recruiting across Canada, the USA and Europe. Alessia and Jessica make an awesome sales recruiting team. Alessia enjoys concerts, sports events, travel and good Italian food. She is big fan of Grand Prix Motorcycle Racing and she wakes up at 3am to watch the European races.
Ana Dumont is our candidate researcher. She moved to Canada from Brazil several years ago to study and decided to stay. I guess she likes the rain! Ana is always upbeat and positive, quietly working away to help find candidates for some of the more challenging positions we are working on. She is great to have on our team. She has many friends and is very active socially, enjoying Canadian experiences like camping, watching hockey and complaining about the weather.
I am Henry Goldbeck and I started Goldbeck Recruiting 20 years ago. I still recruit for some sales roles as well as General Management and Executive positions. I am really fortunate to have such a great team working with me who do an awesome job recruiting for our clients. Most of our NPA splits are as an importer of candidates and we have really appreciated the great efforts and candidates we have received for our positions. We have also enjoyed exporting and working with partners who needed help finding candidates to fill tough positions.
