Good news: Statistics Canada says we’re all earning more.
Or at least we were at the end of last year: the average weekly earnings of non-farm payroll employees in December 2013 was $933.
(And that’s an increase of a 0.9% increase from November 2013.)
This means the average Canadian annual income is approximately $48,516.00…
…but the average salary of the jobs we’re currently filling is way higher than that.
