Goldbeck Recruiting Inc. Completes Recruitment of Executive Director for Asia Pacific Gateway Skills Table
VANCOUVER, BC CANADA - July 23, 2008 - Goldbeck Recruiting Inc., a leading recruitment and executive search firm in BC, has recently completed the successful recruitment of an Executive Director for the Asia Pacific Gateway Skills Table, under contract to Ference Weicker & Company.
The Asia Pacific Gateway Skills Table is a newly created, not-for-profit organization funded by HRSDC through the Province of BC, and mandated to coordinate decision-making and action related to labour shortages and skills gaps associated with the Gateway and corridor in British Columbia.
According to Henry Goldbeck, President of Goldbeck Recruiting, "the search and selection process of an Executive Director for this role was particularly challenging because of its requirements for a broad range of Human Resource Management knowledge, experience in cross-sectoral partnerships as well as understanding of government operations at provincial and federal levels".
Adding to the complexity of the position, according to Don Ference, President of Ference Weicker & Company, was "the need for someone who could manage a diverse set of sectors and had start-up experience.
