Our client is a manufacturer of sawmill equipment and other related machinery. They have been in business for 35 years, and are looking for an outstanding accounting clerk to join their team.


  • Account payable processing
  • Assisting with waybill preparation for daily shipments
  • Keeping track of inventory and work order maintenance in ERP system
  • Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc
  • Preparing project manual books for customers
  • Preparing employee expense claims and resolving vendor invoice discrepancies
  • Reconciling vendor statements and 3-way document matching
  • Assisting payroll in reviewing and recording hours from daily time cards
  • General office duties as required


  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience is required
  • Self-motivated with “can do” attitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well with multiple teams and independently
  • Ability to type with a high degree of accuracy
  • Mature, professional attitude; able to handle time-pressured deadlines
  • Highly organized, able to multitask and handle multiple demands busy periods
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
  • Must have reliable transportation, as transit to this area is limited
