Profile:

Our client is a North American based furniture retailer, manufacturer, and distributor engaged in both residential and contract markets, offering classic-contemporary designs with timeless style and enduring quality.

They are currently seeking an experienced full-time ARCHITECTURALSALES EXECUTIVE to join their Vancouver sales team. The Architectural Sales Executive focuses on outside sales for architectural brands (kitchens, doors, tiles, and bathroom and kitchen fixtures). In this role, the candidate will report to the Director of Sales and Business Development, Vancouver.

Responsibilities

o             Handle all specific brand sales including sales quotations, budget planning, client negotiations, order management, installation, and on-going relationship management

o             On-going sales monitoring and analysis of all contract sales activities

o             Contribute to the overall conquest and retention strategies

o             Sales monitoring, sales analysis, pricing strategy

o             Competitive analysis and benchmarking

o             Manage and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets

o             Negotiate with Trades for installations and overall projects

o             Negotiate with vendors, troubleshooting, pricing

o             Project management: monitoring timelines ensuring deadlines are met

o             Business development and client retention across Canada

o             Additional responsibilities as requested or required

 

Requirements

o             Architectural Sales experience (3-5 years)

o             Interior Design or Architectural qualifications

o             Strong relationships in the Architectural, Design and Development Communities

o             Strong understanding of architectural plans

o             Conflict resolution skills

o             Ability to work Saturdays (2-3 per month)

o             Ability to multitask in a dynamic team environment

o             Driver’s license/car nice to have

o             Strong organizational skills

o             Excellent computer skills in Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word

o             Experience with AutoDesk CAD software an asset

o             Experience with inventory/database, preferably SAP

o             French or second language an asset

o             Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to speak articulately and concisely in group settings
