Our client is a leading food production company offering artisanal baked goods to the foodservice and retail industry. They employ over 200 people and are planning to grow their team by the end of 2021 as well as open additional facilities in the near future.
They are currently in need of a bakery expert who will be responsible for collaborating with product development, production, and operations teams to enhance product quality, strategies, processes, and procedures.
The ideal candidate is someone with previous bakery experience (mandatory). Artisanal bakery experience would be highly preferred.
This is a brand-new role that will be customized based on the candidate’s specific background. Depending on his/her exact know-how, this individual will have no direct reports if more of a consultant, or up to 10 if more of a plant/production manager fit.
Previous operations or production or research & development (R&D) experience is required.
The position will report to the Director of Operations.
