Our client is a well-established supplier of raw ingredients and an OEM manufacturer of skin care products. They are currently adding a Brand and Sales Associate to their team based in Richmond, BC.

The new hire will be responsible for executing new product launches, marketing, and sales, working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to execute a successful business strategy. This position is responsible for the overall management of the brand on both a strategic and practical day-to-day basis ensuring that all KPIs are met. A “wear many hats” role that understands the big picture, yet can tackle the detailed tasks.

Job Responsibilities:

Brand

  • Develop and execute all aspects of brand management including strategy, product, pricing, advertising, promotions, etc.
  • Manage eCom and Amazon marketplace, coordinating listings, inventory, promotional opportunities, pricing optimization, and content creation.
  • Leverage all marketing tools to drive traffic to the site, increase conversion rate grow the business.
  • Work closely with the sales team on promotional plans, in-store activities, and product education to strengthen existing retailer relationships.
  • Lead the creation of new products from market research, and concept stage to commercialization.
  • Build, maintain, and analyze customer lead/sales funnel, including customer purchasing frequency, product selection, affinity towards the brand, engagement in promotions, etc.
  • Plan, execute, and represent the company at all relevant events and trade shows.
  • Monthly reporting to management of sales and marketing performance.

Business

  • Manage clients’ new product development projects from concept stage to manufacturing, working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop client relationships.

Requirements:

  • Min. 2 years experience in brand management or marketing role (our client would also consider candidates with no brand management expertise but previous sales experience)
  • Min. 1-2 years experience in sales and business development (our client would also consider candidates with no sales experience but a strong sales aptitude and interest)
  • Experience with digital advertising, content marketing, social media, and email marketing
  • Experience with small CPG brand preferred
  • Respectful, effective communicator
  • Works well independently and in a team environment
  • Comfortable building budgets and marketing plans
  • Passion for the beauty industry
