Our client provides Residential Renovations Design/Build services to clients throughout the Greater Vancouver area. They are looking for a Construction Company Manager responsible for running and managing residential renovation and construction projects throughout the Lower Mainland. This individual will be managing the site supervisors and around 25 to 50 projects over the year.
Responsibilities:
· Managing project managers, site supervisors, and hiring subcontractors on all projects for the firm.
· Making sure that all projects are on time and within the budget.
· Ensure all traders and contractors are apprised of schedule expectations and delegate responsibilities.
· Leading the project meetings with site supervisors to review projects when required (weekly).
· Going to sites to appraise how the project is going and addressing any concerns.
Qualifications:
· 10 years single family homes construction/renovations experience required.
· Solid/accurate knowledge of current construction building code and law.
· Built Green and Net Zero experience is an asset.
· Construction manager education background is an asset.
· A valid driver’s license is a necessity.
· Good communication skills are key.
