Our client is a Canadian manufacturer of CPGs (Consumer Packaged Goods) sold through grocery, convenience, hardware, pharmacy, and other retail pos.

They are adding to their BC sales team in the Lower Mainland and on Vancouver Island looking for candidates with exceptional dedication in selling to retail channels to be trained in regional key account responsibilities.

Role scope:

· create and implement key account activity plans to achieve revenue and margin objectives.

· Implement merchandising and category development plans in alignment with national sales strategy

· effectively execute regional sales department strategies


· Track customer sales performance data to analyze and understand performance drivers and opportunities adjust as per category management principles.

· aid strategic account decision-making.

· Work with Regional and National Sales Managers to develop and execute regional sales strategies

· Participate in annual and long-term business planning and strategy development

· Implement trade spending investment and promotional plans

· Deliver required forecast accuracy and communicate market insights with peers and managers on a scheduled and proactive basis

· Be responsible for effective use of customer rebates and discounts, maintaining all pricing related variable within corporate parameters.

· Maintain corporate CRM

· Perform all sales calls according to comprehensive company training and standards in order to maximize distribution, facings, holding power, shelf location, incremental displays, POS and other sales drivers.

· Manager territory call cadence efficiently and effectively.


· Completion of a University or College Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related area.

· 3 years of sales experience in consumer packaged goods, CPG, or other consumer products sold through retail channels.

· Driven to succeed in a team oriented national sales force.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving and numerical analytical abilities.
