Our client is based in 5 locations worldwide, with offices in India, US and Canada. They have a team of over 60 professionals who deliver end-to-end supply chain solutions using a tech-based platform. As our client’s business grows, they are looking for a Customs Broker to add to their team in the Blaine, WA area.

Our client is an IATA, WCA, FMC and MTO accredited firm. They are contract holders with major steamship liners and airlines and actively assist various Amazon sellers worldwide with e-commerce solutions, freight insurance and bonds.


• Assist customers with timely entry processing to avoid any delays or storage at the Airport/Sea Port.

• Assist customers with compliance on their import customs declarations.

• Evaluate documents and process entries forwarded by Import operations.

• Interact with the finance team to provide and update the duties and relevant amounts pertaining to Import entries if the customer is not Customs ACH.

• Manage and correct post entry documents with customs.

• Manage import compliance audit and follow procedures for full compliance at the branch.

• Maintain customer bonds and POA records.

• Forge and maintain durable business relationships with customers for continued business support.

• Suggest changes and advice solutions to the customer that can positively impact the customer’s business.

• Provide details for binding ruling to customer if required and assist with submission to customs on behalf of customer if queries are raised.

• Use the internal company’s systems to file the entries and give confirmations to the operations team electronically.

• Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to: Applying for Bonds, Studying Penalties, Establishing New IOR/Consignee/Customer/Vendor profiles, ACH management, tracking inward cheques and other incoming paper mails.


· Must have a valid U.S. Customs Brokerage License.

· Prior knowledge of Customs entry filing related to specialty areas such as apparel, Food and Drug and Engineering tools would be a plus.

· Proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc.

· Proficient with the Internet and being tech savvy is a plus.

· Minimum 3-5 years industry experience and/or customs brokerage license.

· Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to relate to customers and internal employees at all levels.
