Our client is a leading private educational institute based in Vancouver, BC.   The University Pathway Program Manager is responsible for managing all activities related to our clients Pathway Program. The key mandate is to build a strong University Pathway Department and ensure quality programs for students. The position involves continuous and active expansion of pathway relationships with Canadian post-secondary education institutions and creating SOPs on delivery of the pathway programs. The position acts as a pathway program specialist and provides ongoing advice and support to international students, school staff as well as overseas agents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish new pathway relationships with Canadian post-secondary education institutions
  • Create detailed and effective working procedures on pathway program delivery
  • As the program grows, build out a team of Pathway Coordinators and specialists
  • Responds to pathway inquiries from enrolled students, agents and recruitment teams; ensures that all stakeholders receive an outstanding customer service experience
  • Consults prospective students who are interested to apply to pathway partners; assists students in choosing the best fit program based on students’ career goals and academic background; prepares and submits applications for students
  • Liaisons with pathway institution regarding updates on students’ applications
  • Monitors and records pathway students’ enrolment into partner institutions, follows up on an application process
  • Tracks students’ academic progression at to ensure students’ successful and smooth transition into partner institutions
  • Plan, organize and participate in marketing campaigns and events that promote pathway programs
  • Plan and organize in-house marketing fairs with pathway partners

 Qualifications:

  • University degree in business, marketing, education or a related field, or an appropriate combination of education and experience
  • Solid Canadian higher education system and pathways process knowledge
  • Excellent customer care and service excellence attitude
  • 3-5 years of successful relevant experience, preferably in Education industry; experience in a supervisory role is preferred
  • Strong program management skills
  • Superior presentation skills and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
