Our client is a fast-growing organization focused on delivering smart, innovative, cloud-based, lending, and protection technologies for financial institutions across Canada.


We are looking to hire the Information Technology Program Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overall execution, which includes working with the Enterprise Architect, Director of Technology, Director of IT, and numerous development and cloud infrastructure analysts. We are looking for a technology leader to take ownership to support the execution of product cybersecurity elements across the company’s products and services as well as the due diligence framework for all 3rd parties.


  • Execute the company cybersecurity roadmap with direction to all stakeholders
  • Delegate the latest trends in information security and be prepared to create a framework for the most reliable and cost-effective technology guidelines
  • Provide management reports, dashboards and detailed presentations for senior leadership and business leaders to clearly demonstrate an understanding of risks and findings
  • Develop and manage security compliance dashboards and reports for internal stakeholders
  • Evaluate the design effectiveness of controls based on industry best practices
  • Facilitate risk assessments, maturity assessments and evaluation of controls and measurements against policies, standards, and processes
  • Ensure annual 3rd party security audit on infrastructure and software application penetration testing
  • Expert in demonstrating proficiency in a wide range of information security technologies, embedded security, and platforms
  • Define and launch due diligence framework for all 3rd parties and strategic partners




  • Minimum 10 years of previous experience in a similar role or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job
  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or a related discipline
  • Minimum 2 of the following certifications or equivalent: CEH: Certified Ethical Hacker, CISM: Certified Information Security Manager, CompTIA Security+, CISSP: Certified Information Systems Security Professional and GSEC: SANS GIAC Security Essentials
  • At least 3 years of experience in information security control assessments, audit or compliance
  • Structured project management experience in deploying security related initiatives
  • Board experience in computer and network systems, including IT security
  • Extensive experience and knowledge in all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  •  Experience as a technical lead in a major technology implementation
