Our client has been around since 2003 selling Total Energy Systems exclusively to the BC and Yukon area. My client is looking for a new graduate that fits with the team over technical skills. A successful candidate is someone that is outgoing and takes the initiative. This will be an in-office position in Surrey.
Responsibilities:
· Will prepare estimates/proposals for contractors, engineers, end users.
· Follow up on projects bid, ask for the order, prepare documents for customer and for office administrator.
· Answer technical questions from contractors, engineers, and end users on our mechanical equipment lines (like steam boilers)
· Once the candidate is confident with the technical aspects of their equipment (6 months – 1 year)
o Meeting clients at job sites when necessary
o Troubleshooting any issues
o Making sales calls to engineers and contractors when necessary
Qualifications:
· Engineering degree in chemical or mechanical or a related field
· Someone with experience in sales or the food industry is ideal.
· Must be a proactive individual that can make their own decisions.
· Communication will be key in this position.
