Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of building products for commercial roofing applications. They develop and offer high-quality products to roofing contractors, architects, consultants, and any other major player in the construction industry across Canada.

They are currently looking for an Outside Sales Representative who will be assigned a specific territory in the Ontario region and will drive sales among existing and prospective customers. The ideal candidate is someone with previous sales experience in roofing/building envelope or related products who understands the local market in Ontario.

This is a long-term opportunity offering the chance to work for a well-known organization that is going through significant growth and expansion.


  • Promote and position company’s different roofing products
  • Visit construction sites
  • Maintain good communication with the clients and company
  • Monitor projects closely
  • Draft proposals
  • Develop new clients and maintain the current clientele
  • Lifelong learning of the products
  • Participate in meetings on evenings and certain weekends, if required
  • Meet the company’s strategic goals


  • At least five (5) years relevant sales experience, preferably in roofing/building envelope
  • Valid class 5 driver’s permit
  • Health and safety on construction sites
  • Reading of plans and specifications (an asset)
  • Ability to read plans and specifications
  • Independence
  • Strong judgment and discretion
  • Teamwork
