Our client is a leading global infrastructure solutions provider. We are looking for their Project Manager to join the team. This individual is responsible for managing the day to day operations for a specific site contract. He or she is accountable for all contract deliverables, including staff supervision, subcontractors, quality control, ISO certification, safety, security, fire response and rescue, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with an excellent work ethic who is able to ensure superior customer service. He/ she will be required to interface with clients, subcontractors and vendors in connection with contract negotiations, approvals and financial arrangements.


  • Manage the overall project including budgeting, staff leadership and implementation of work
  • Ensure the proper staff resources in are place, and facilitate training, performance reviews and performance management
  • Develop a strong relationship with the client and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Identify project scope changes and present cost information to the client
  • Evaluate estimates and subcontractor quotes
  • Participating in business planning and financial reporting
  • Mentor and coach direct reports
  • Champion safety on site and ensure the proper protocols are adhered to
  • Create emergency response and safety plans
  • Review all open work orders and ensure they are completed in a timely manner
  • Solicit and evaluate quotes for work
  • Implement quality control programs and ISO certifications
  • Ensure all maintenance work is completed according to contracts and standards
  • Create and measure KPIs


  • A minimum 10 years of experience managing industrial maintenance, infrastructure or construction projects with high revenues
  • Engineering degree or construction management diploma
  • Extensive project management, estimating and budget planning experience
  • Previous experience working for or with the Canadian government an asset
  • Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
  • Polished communication skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with clients
  • Collaborative leadership style and solid business acumen
  • Great communicator, time management and prioritizing skills on high level
