Our client is a glazing company that provides custom products to mix of commercial and residential construction. They are looking for a Project Manager that will be involved in overseeing initial scope of projects to managing the budget to monitoring the projects progress at their small firm. This will be an in-office position in Port Coquitlam with some job site travel.

Responsibilities:

· Ensure all employees and anyone entering the job site follows all appropriate health and safety procedures and wears appropriate personal protective equipment.

· Work to develop strong relationship with their clients, trades, and team members.

· Assure the accuracy of scopes of work.

· Main contact for all projects representatives to answer all requests, concerns, questions, and always provide exceptional customer service.

· Assists in the resolution of design issues, change requests, material defects and equipment problems.

· Monitor job progress and costs and provide regular progress reporting to the Director of Operations.

· Maintain good relationship with our current suppliers and explore potential partner to ensure the stability of the material and hardware supplies

Qualifications:

· 3 years of previous work experience in a project management role, preferably in the glass industry.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and architectural drawings.

· Knowledge and demonstrated use of building envelope science and construction management.

· Working knowledge of customary construction contract language and provisions (subcontract agreements, supply agreements, etc.).

· Communication will be key in this position
