Our client is a private healthcare services company. We are looking for Regional COO to join their team, focused on Western Canada, overseeing multiple clinics. This person is responsible for optimization of the client experience, utilizing employee resources effectively and overall P+L management of the business. Our client’s goal is to provide best in class client services using their state-of-the-art facilities.
Our client will offer a competitive package to attract the right candidate and is open to relocating someone to Vancouver.
Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership and P&L management of a portfolio of for-profit clinics.
- Builds and strengthens relationships with physicians.
- Provides strategic oversight to the Canadian business, including growth plans.
- Manages, mentors, and builds highly successful team environments.
- Implements operational efficiencies to reduce wait times, re-engineering workflows and production.
- Identifies, recommends, and implements practice needs including, but not limited to marketing, staffing, services, equipment, and facilities.
- Establishes clear accountability, financial and operational discipline, execution, ownership, and a sense of stewardship through out the organization.

- Oversees all licensing and accreditation requirements of multiple clinic locations.
- Works with clinical staff to develop or review policies and procedures.
- Monitors clinic , lab, and staff performance; reviews and develops metrics; prioritizes and identifies risks.
- Works closely with the revenue management team on patient billing and collections.
Qualifications:
- Experience in leading a for-profit health care clinic for at least 3-5 years. Multi-site experience is preferred but not required.
- Direct P/L responsibility of a minimum $5-10 million dollar/year business.
- A clinical background or experience leading clinical teams is required.
- Experience leading teams of physicians, as well as developing credibility and trust with teams of physicians.
- Strong operational background in developing operational efficiencies and operational excellence.
- Experience leveraging technology to offer best in class healthcare solutions.
- Intermediate to senior level leadership experience within healthcare.
- Willing to travel in Western Canada and the USA from time to time.
