Profile:

Our client is a North American based furniture retailer, manufacturer, and distributor engaged in both residential and contract markets, offering classic-contemporary designs with timeless style and enduring quality.

They are currently seeking an experienced full-time SALES ASSOCIATE based in Vancouver to support their local showroom. Sales Associates are focused on lead generation, cultivating new and maintaining existing relationships within the A&D community and driving incremental activity into the business. This role reports to the Director of Sales and Business Development.

Responsibilities

o             Strong focus on customer service and business development

o             Lead generation in new and existing market segments

o             Cultivate new relationships with prospective clients and maintain existing relationships

o             Develop sales and penetration strategies alongside the Architectural Representatives and the Sales Director

o             Manage and/or oversee sales activities at the Vancouver Showroom, including quotations, budget planning, client negotiations, order management, deliveries and on-going relationship management

o             Sales monitoring, analysis, and pricing updates

o             Manage and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets

o             Additional responsibilities as required

Requirements

o             Customer service/sales experience (3-5 years)

o             Previous Sales experience in the Interior Design business preferred

o             Strong relationships with developers and influencers preferred

o             Ability to work Saturdays (2-3 per month)

o             Ability to multitask in a dynamic team environment

o             Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented

o             Excellent computer skills in Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word

o             Experience with inventory/database, preferably SAP

o             Mandarin/Cantonese speaking strongly preferred
