Our client specializes in the catching and distribution of fresh and frozen Atlantic lobster and is the largest live lobster exporter in the Halifax area. They have been shipping live lobster to Asia for many years and are now looking to grow the business in the West with the addition of frozen lobster tails and meat. Their live lobster is graded into sized and quality checked, offering the highest quality in the industry. They are looking for a Sales Manager in Toronto to grow the business here. Responsibilities:
· Securing new clients within North America, building a sales funnel to drive growth.
· Communicate effectively and professionally with new and existing customers.
· Liaise with the Marketing department to identify marketing collateral needs.
· Managing sales budgets and setting quarterly and annual sales goals, creating sales reports.
· Following up on inbound sales leads.
· Providing feedback regarding the products to Product Management to ensure their
product is evolving to meet customer needs.
· Monitoring the market and competitor products and activities
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience in the seafood industry
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
· Able to secure new customers, good sales strategies
· Very organized, able to multi-task and prioritize
· Team player, able to work well with all members of the organization
· Set goals for themselves both personally and professionally
· Bilingual (French/English) an asset
· Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
