Our client is a leading pulp and paper trading company headquartered in Europe.

This established trading organization operates internationally and has a strong financial background.  They trade different pulp grades as well as specialty papers and are known for developing remote markets.  Our client will provide relocation assistance for the right individual.



  • Responsible for selling a range of different pulp and paper products within SE Asia
  • Acquire, negotiate, and close sales and purchase contracts
  • Service and maintain excellent working relationships with both customers and suppliers
  • Source, prospect and identify new customers and trading opportunities
  • Attend relevant trade shows and business events to broaden growth opportunities


  • A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in commodity trading, working for a trading house (not a producer), OR, B2B industrial sales experience
  • A background in customer service and/or inside sales is an asset
  • Experience traveling for work
  • International passport
  • Proficiency in English; a second language is considered a major asset
  • Comfortable with international travel and working with different time zones
  • Proven sales accomplishments
  • Experience attending trade show/industry events
  • Progressive business skills – professional demeanor, articulate, exceptional computer skills
  • A business or international trade degree, or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong negotiation, facilitation and influencing skills
  • High level of initiative and entrepreneurial drive
  • Understanding and familiarity of international trade financing, purchasing and transportation
