Our client is a well-established window and door manufacturer offering customized solutions to the high-end residential and commercial sectors.

Due to the company’s expansion, they are adding a Service & Install Manager who will be responsible for overseeing service and installation projects from the development through execution of an agreement, ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget.

•                     Manage and mentor the service and install department staff

•                     Develop budgets and plans in alignment to company goals and objectives

•                     Review and troubleshoot client requests to determine course of action

•                     Ensure timely communication and follow up with clients throughout the process

•                     Enter and update all data and information into relevant systems

•                     Source parts for current and legacy systems

•                     Review site conditions prior to scheduling service or install; coordinate site service

•                     Ensure execution of installation contracts; collect outstanding service and installation fees upon completion of service

•                     Provide feedback to relevant team members of any systemic problems

•                     Develop/update quoting methodologies and contracts; supply or review installation quotes

•                     Review installation practices to ensure that they are in alignment with Building code and Building science best practices and participate in installations as required

•                     Plan and direct 3rd party resources and train others on installation methods

•                     Work closely with contractors, site managers and sub-contractors to ensure clarity regarding expectations and deliverables

•                     Work in collaboration with other departments to ensure that customers’ expectations and company objectives are being met


•                     Diploma or degree, preferably construction/business related

•                     5+ years of experience in service and install, with 2+ years in a supervisory role

•                     Strong background in construction, building codes and envelope science. Windows and doors highly preferred

•                     Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, CRM and Prefsuite or other ERP/MRP systems

•                     Strong verbal and written English communication skills

•                     Demonstrated high work ethic and strong organizational skills with ability to meet tight timelines

•                     Ability to travel locally and to the USA (if needed)

•                     Valid BC Driver’s license
