Our client is a leading European manufacturer and distributor of polycarbonate systems. They are expanding their Canadian team in order to grow their market share in North America. The company has a long history of success in Europe and guarantees a solid foundation allowing the distribution of their products internationally. The goal is to eventually open a manufacturing facility in Canada, in addition to their already established Vancouver office.

The ideal candidate is someone with previous experience calling on accounts such as plastic/building materials distributors, Architects, Designers, Developers, and Retailers.

Responsibilities:

· Representing the company in the North American market and managing key accounts

· Managing the entire sales cycle and meeting sales targets and quotas

· Implementing a consistent market penetration strategy by creating detailed sales plans

· Establish long-term relationships with top clients and business partners, identifying trends in supply and demand over the medium to long term

· Sharing market research, analysis and trends of the North America market with the leadership team, in order to identify new business opportunities

· Developing and implementing ad hoc after-sales and customer support strategies to guarantee clients retention

· Responding to complaints and solving problems to ensure customer success and satisfaction

 

Qualifications:

· Ability to work independently

· Self-motivated, enthusiastic, passionate, analytical

· Proven track record of achieving growth objectives in business development and sales and able to win over customers with creative ideas and innovative solutions

· Entrepreneurship, performance and results orientation and drive to lead the sales and service team to success

· Excellent negotiation skills

· Exceptional knowledge of MS Office and at least one CRM software
