Our client is a well-established yet growing provider of traffic safety equipment and services offering superior solutions to municipalities across Canada through product installations, rentals, maintenance, and customized programs. They are currently in need of an experienced Vice President with a strong industrial distribution background, ideally focusing on new ERP implementations, Supply Chain or Manufacturing & Operations.

The position will be based in Edmonton, AB and will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Corporation and its subsidiaries, in accordance with the strategic plan as well as the operating and capital budgets. The new hire will be part of the Executive Team and will assist with designing, planning and implementing business strategies, plans and procedures.

· Design, plan and implement business strategies, plans and procedures

· Establish policies and procedures that promote company culture and vision

· Oversee day to day operations

· Analyze and interpret data and metrics

· Take the lead in expansion activities

· Maintain relationships with partners and vendors

· develop, in collaboration with the CEO and the VP of Finance, an annual operating plan that supports the Corporation’s long-term strategy

· ensure the development of health and safety practices and oversee compliance

· maintain a positive and ethical work climate that is conducive to attracting, retaining, and motivating a diverse group of top-quality employees at all levels

· coordinate the sustainability strategies of the Corporation

· evaluate the performance of senior executives reporting to the VP

· ERP selection and implementation

· Operate with LEAN initiatives

· Supply Chain responsibility


· Previous working experience as Senior Level Leader for 5+ years

· 10+ years’ experience in leading branch operations, Supply Chain, ERP selection and implementation

· Hands on experience in strategic planning and business development

· MA in Business Administration or similar relevant field

· In-depth knowledge of different business functions such as HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Technology, etc.

· Good knowledge of data analysis and KPIs

· Familiarity with IT/Business infrastructure

· Outstanding organizational and time management skills

· Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

· Great communication and presentation skills

· Problem-solving mindset

· Lean Six Sigma trained an asset

· Health and Safety NCSO Certification an asset
