Our client is a well-established manufacturer of high-end residential and commercial doors and offers customized solutions to Architects, General Contractors, and End-Users throughout North America. Due to an internal expansion, they are adding an Account Executive (inside sales) to their sales team in Western Canada. This individual will be working from their beautiful Vancouver Showroom and will be responsible for representing and selling our client’s product lines while providing informative and accurate small business and commercial estimates. He/She will connect and build relationships with key personnel and decision-makers on projects, set appointments for showroom visits, prospect with existing clients to generate new and repeat business.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell to Residential and Commercial accounts
  • Enter information to the CRM system including main contact names, phone numbers, email addresses, and project notes
  • Maintain current information each time you connect with the client or prospective client
  • Provide complete, informative, accurate estimates
  • Proactively build and maintain an accurate and current pipeline
  • Communicate prospective business opportunities with National Account Manager
  • Efficiently maintain a high level of client contact and follow up
  • Provide inside sales support to any outside sales team members if they are out of the showroom
  • Master the following product specifications, applications, and submittals

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of sales with small business projects or similar experience
  • 1+ years of Excel, Word, and Outlook experience
  • 1+ years of CRM and DocuSign experience (preferred)
  • Familiar with commercial space plans, drawings, and terminology
  • Strong negotiation skills and high closing ratio
  • Solid Math and measurement skills
  • Team player and positive attitude
  • Ability to ask questions and gather information
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
