For decades, our client has innovated new ways to solve challenges faced by concrete construction professionals worldwide.  Their highly engineered concrete forming and shoring equipment meets the highest standards in safety, improving efficiency, and protecting the budget.  Between training, field support, and effective design, they have the lowest in-place concrete cost in the industry, making their products the best to support demanding project schedules.  They are looking to hire a Field Service Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the erection of forming equipment on job sites
  • Handles irregularities as needed and consistently reviews and ensures product safety guidelines are met
  • Helps customers with cycling procedures of formwork, completing fact sheets for each job site
  • Identifies best solutions for customers, working with district and corporate personnel
  • Acts as a troubleshooter, recognizing potential problems and coaching customers
  • Completes field service scheduling requirements
  • Reviews blueprints and pre-plans for best practices
  • Count equipment ensuring mistakes are caught, working with sales and engineering staff to determine needs
  • Work as a sales partner with Territory Managers to create customer solutions prior to the sale by demonstrating the initial cycling of forms with contractors
  • Delivers safety toolbox meetings on customer job sites
  • Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required

Qualifications:

  • form carpentry, foreman, superintendent, construction management, and other construction experience
  • Hands-on experience with concrete forms is a must
  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of five years as a foreman or superintendent, or a Bachelor of Engineering degree
  • Carpenter Union membership helpful
  • Blueprint reading required
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and leadership skills required
  • Must be a creative thinker, motivated, with the ability to resolve problems quickly
  • Passion for construction and consistently demonstrates a positive attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to answer technical questions
  • Must be able to perform high levels of customer service while ensuring full satisfaction when equipment is delivered

Physical Requirements:

  • Candidates must be able to drive for extended periods of time as well as sit/stand for unlimited intervals
  • Position includes constant climbing and maneuvering around objects including working above head
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs
  • Extensive travel, 2-4 nights per week
  • Final candidates will be required to pass a post-offer pre-employment physical and drug screen.
