Heavy Equipment Service Technician

About the client:

Our client is a premier rental provider specializing in segmental casings and drilling tools, offering a wide range from 24” to 98” casings, buckets, augers, core barrels, and casing oscillators. All equipment is sourced from top-tier manufacturers like Leffer and Bauer, ensuring quality and reliability. They proudly serve both the USA and Canada, offering flexible rental and sales options tailored to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities:

• Service, diagnose, and repair a variety of equipment, including drilling rigs, casing oscillators, powerpacks, cranes, and loaders.
• Operate drill rigs and other machinery for assembly, disassembly, and diagnostic tasks.
• Maintain and repair drilling tools and casings using skills in welding and torch cutting.
• Actively promote and close sales of technical services and parts.
• Prepare estimates and quotes for equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Schedule routine maintenance such as oil changes for all equipment.
• Manage parts inventory and order components for all equipment.
• Conduct site visits for equipment inspection and customer consultations.

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Certification as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Technician.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with foundation drilling equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and work independently.
• Proficient in diesel hydraulic systems maintenance and understanding electrical schematics.
• Knowledgeable in using standard computer software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
• Valid passport and driver’s license, with a willingness to travel frequently both domestically and internationally.
