Responsibilities:

  • Manage subcontractors by participating in hiring, training, and supervising their activities to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and site inspections to verify that all work meets required specifications.
  • Foster strong client relationships, ensuring performance standards are met and addressing any complaints promptly.
  • Engage in expansion at existing sites by promoting additional services and negotiating expanded coverage and fees.
  • Contribute to business growth through active involvement in new bids and initiatives.
  • Oversee equipment repairs and coordinate maintenance efforts to avoid disruptions.
  • Monitor and manage subcontractor hours to ensure alignment with budget constraints.
  • Liaise between clients and the company to facilitate effective communication and project execution.

Qualifications:

  • Proven management experience in a fast-paced environment, handling a diverse workforce.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for report generation.
  • Excellent communication skills and adept at managing change.
  • Capable of designing and executing new programs that enhance service offerings.
  • Willing and able to travel frequently and address immediate issues as they arise.
  • Experienced in identifying trends, troubleshooting issues, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Background in janitorial services within the grocery industry, with specific skills in floor care and staff scheduling.

Working Conditions:

  • Requires flexibility in shift times to interact with night cleaning crews.
  • Must be fully vaccinated and able to obtain CPIC clearance.
  • Frequent regional travel necessary.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
