Happy Holidays from Goldbeck Recruiting

This year is a little different from most, and our Christmas card is no exception. For 2020 Goldbeck Recruiting commissioned a one of a kind artwork of the iconic Robson Square skating rink as a sparkling symbol of the joy of the holidays in Canada.

Commissioned by Goldbeck from local painter Emilie Fantuz, the painting is being sold by auction to raise money for ISSofBC.

Emilie is represented by the Ian Tang Gallery in Vancouver and is an accomplished professional. View some of her other works here, as well as her recently sold pieces.

EMILIE FANTUZ is a Vancouver palette knife painter known for her cityscapes. Originally from the United States, upon moving to Canada her first Canadian Christmas experience was going to the Robson Square Ice Rink. Emilie is pleased to have doubled the size of the painting from the original commission by Goldbeck as her contribution to ISSofBC. In addition to her career as an artist she also teaches English as a second language to newcomers and as a permanent resident working toward citizenship herself she can relate to the difficulties of moving to a new country.

“I hope that this painting of Robson Square at Christmastime will be one that recipients connect with and hopefully can relate to as well.”
